The people of Ozamiz City and its nearby municipalities have celebrated how they successfully reduced the incidence of hunger and poverty through #agroecology during the World Food Day activity held at La Salle University.

This is another good example of what a multi-sectoral partnership can do to attain Goal No. 1 and No. 2 of Sustainable Development Goals at the local level, with concrete participation of the farmers.

The efforts of PLAGS, LGU Ozamiz (represented by Atty. Nestor Montemor), COASTLINE, Columban Missionaries, La Salle University, and the members of Agro-Eco Philippines in Western Mindanao are highly commendable.

Looking forward for more successful years to come.
